have a new look thanks to a partnership of 9 miles project,you 2 Africa and park inn by Radisson hotel company
Which resulted in using paint ,spray cans and paint brushes to produce a work of art [mural] with help of the international mural artist Joel
Bergner where Strandfontein youths also got involved in the painting of
mural at Strandfontein library it was apart of add col-our to lives
with the youths favorite activity [surfing] as well the importance
of reading and learning

came up with a themes and imagery during the workshop with Mr Berger which lasted a week the mural painting describe the good and
bad elements affecting lives

of the participating girls which was painted on a book with the girl
surfing a big wave further down a shark which carry all the
negativity and violecne swimming towards a boy who carry the
positive message on the other side a tree trunk from
the parking lot was painted up to the walls the tree top filled
ideas and dreams the youth want to achieve in the future

Can someone please tell me who performed the first taraweeg in Strandfontein? I believed it was in a tent the exact same spot where the Masjid is currently.
