The opening ceremony  of any Olympics has a flaming 

torch which symbolize  light of spirit,knowledge,life it is 

herald of peace and the flag consist of 5 locked rings  it 

symbolize Africa,Asia, Australia .Europe  and the 

Americans

a medal ceremony is held  for the top 3 athletes  finishers

 gold,silver and bronze medals

the gold meld  winner  gets their anthem played



 

it will be a life changing moment  achievement for athletes to

 win and stand on the podium [stage] with  a medal hanging 

from your neck to make your country proud and make 

history for your nation

 one of them teams are a medical team including the athlete 

medical team or [sascoc] to give their history

a medical team is important to check   up on the athletes

 needs  and to see if they are fit and healthy enough
