Saint Francis church

Brief history

• St Francis church form part of the Mitchell plain archdeaconry it is situated in strandfontein on the corner of samon and couplejou road and serves the Anglicans community

It started from a garage by one of the parishers then later used the local school for accommodation to a classroom due to the growth of the community a few years later in 1980 a small building site was constructed for the bigger growth of Anglicans which was used for 12 years till the main building was completed in1992
