Shiegh Abubaker Ismail

Shegh Abubaker Ismail is the shegh and principle of the muslem school at musjied ul bager[Strandfontein mosque] his family and him lives on the premeses and is well respected among the muslim community of strandfontein

He was born and raised in Claremont area and later moved to Mannenberg then there after Michell plain shegh abaaker comes from well educated home his the eledest son of imam Mogamat Qasim ismail who was the imam of Sherwoood park mosque for more than 35 years

Shegh abubaker Ismail first teacher was his father and uncle Noor Raynard there after he went to learn hiffs by shegh Ganief Moose who was the first imam of masjied ul bagher[strandfontein mosque] he memorized the entire Qraun under shegh Ganief Moose

Later shegh Ganief Moose recomened him to fuhter his studies by the late shegh Mogamat Nazeem Mohammed at Yusurf fieyah mosque in Wynberg the teaches that taught him there was imam Malik Heumeer, abubabaaker Simon,shegh amien fakier[the author of famous book al mufiedah] shegh

Shegh abubaaker ismail started his career as a tajaweed teacher at Dougalas road Primary school later left to assist Westrige mosque as a imaan [ masjidud jumuah ] while he was asting he also lead the taaraweeg salaah at Sherwood park mosque [ masjied ul jama ah]

Shigh Abubaker have a long history in the developing stages of strandfontein community he was also a student under the teachining and guidecne of shiegh moose where he .did his ghiffss and lead his first terraaweegrhe sallah at the rylands family home

While waiting on the mosqsue to be build a big tent or open spaces were used to perform prayers daily shiegh Abubakeer Ismail was glad to assist shiegh Ganief moose as a youngster while construction took place at the mosque

Later as an apart of a bliuding site was completed of the mosque shiegh Abubaker Ismail livied with his wife and new born baby while he was helping the late kaleifah Galiema samuelals teaching molem school and was a principle at the same time in1992 shiiefgh Abubaker Ismail lived with his family on the mosque grounds where was also teaching ghiffs to a group boys while they where he shared two rooms a few years

he later left for Madinah and Cario to futher his studies then came back to teach and help out other communities and mosques the a masjied ul bager commatie [SIA] members aproach him to assist abaaker abdoeraah oeff as astandig imam of strandfontein [masjied ul bager ]and later got full time when abubaker bdoeraaoef left

shegh abubaker ismail is currently in 2015 teaching hifths classes in the morning to young youths 7 30 a m till 2p m girls and boys
