who s who in Strandfonein MR Quinn

happy & secure
environment
Pursuing whatever you want and doing what you really want to in order to make a
success of yourself and not being threatened about your safety is what Robert Quinn wants
to see happen in Strandfontein. Being a resident of Strandfontein since 1978 Robert has a
lot of hopes and dreams that he believes he will fulfil in Strandfontein.
A happy, secure and safe environment is all that Robert wants to achieve in Strandfontein!
When we asked Robert what he wanted his aim for Strandfontein was he had this to say: “I
want people to enjoy whatever they wish to pursue without having to worry about their and
their families safety and security.”
Robert so badly wants to see the community to have an active interaction with the local
authorities as well as with all youth activities, senior activities, sport and recreation.
It’s a fact that members of the Village do not have a satisfying bonding that it used to have
way back then. “Strandfontein has lost its closeness and warmth of a small town” says
Robert.
Making Strandfontein a better place for all with whatever contribution Robert can make is for
sure the only thing he wants to do to be satisfied with his attempt to give our seaside suburb.
“At the Moment that contribution is trying through the Sports Complex to improve and
upgrade facilities there to make it more functional and attractive for use by all of the
Community and to run youth recreational activities there during Vacation periods,”
says Mr Quinn.
Q: What motto do you live by daily?
A: To make this world a better place for all by my actions and deeds.
Q: Last encouraging words for the youth of Strandfontein Village?
A: We have several role models in our area. Young people and older persons who have
overcome the lack of facilities have achieved great things in business, sport and in life generally.
We have wonderful people who are running programs and projects in the community
which are bearing outstanding results. The youth should make use of the opportunities that
there are and use it as the above people have.
