Living in the high modern society with crime and violence affecting our people the police need a extra hand to help defeat the problems in the areas the CPF

The CPF of and police are to different Government parties fighting for the same cause under one roof

Community Police Forum (CPF) is a body that is made up of organizations and institutions such as schools, ratepayers associations, civic organizations, businesses and religious institutions, working hard in partnership with the local police.

There aim of a CPF is to obtain and maintain a safe and secure environment for the community and to make police work among the community

It is the law and rights to the constitution that every police station must have cpf helping the police combat crime in the community

By law that a CPF must promote projects in accordance with the police act

C P F together with police better our safety in our community making safety our first identifying and patrolling the area

C P F have a close relationship identifying with the communities to work on safety plans ,projects and needs to better the local police service

CPF work on many of the police work to keep the records up and running smoothly[visited jails,bookkeeping patrolling with police ect]

CPF do not were uniforms or make arrest they keep a close eye on the community or areas

to make CPF visible they are responsible for the team[nieghbour wood-watch] riding on bicycles or walking around day and night looking like your nieghbour [under cover] to pick up news and to report back to the local police station

It is hard work for local police members to watch over us petroling and putting in structures[road blocks etc] so the community can be safe of any crime and violence day and night that’s why C P F encourage the community to playa part to rid off crime and violence in the area
